In 2008, Silke and Stephan Becker, founded their company Cosmondial and soon afterwards launched benecos . This was a real matter of the heart for them with their goal as a cosmetics brand for specialist retailers that combines the best of glittering ‘conventional’ cosmetics with certified, resource-saving natural cosmetics - and at extremely fair, attractive prices that everyone can afford. This is how benecos came into being, a word created from bene = good in Latin and cos = cosmetics.

In short: Good cosmetics for EVERYONE! This concept revolutionised the natural cosmetics trade - the range there at the time was visually unappealing and, above all, expensive - and therefore unaffordable for the general public.

The two founders Silke & Stephan Becker and a team of 50 people who work on new ideas for benecos customers every day. With the two adult children Marie and Moritz, the next generation is already in the starting blocks.

benecos is, so to speak, the ‘democratisation of natural cosmetics since 2010’. At that time it was the first brand in the organic retail trade that was able to offer high-quality natural make-up at such an affordable price for everyone because in the right places, such as: B. packaging was saved. Benecos' products should simply be fun, affordable and with feel good factor when you look at the ingredients.

All products, with the exception of the nail polishes, are certified natural or organic cosmetics, and therefore a guarantee for the highest product quality.

For the founders Silke and Stephan, there has been a ‘mantra’ at benecos since the beginning: it is extremely important that the content of the benecos products must be more expensive than the packaging. The standard in cosmetics is often exactly the other way around!

Other points are of course fun to use and the performance of the products: before we bring something onto the market, we are our own biggest critics. Not only does every product have to be found to be flawless in the laboratory - there is also an endurance test among colleagues. Of course, Silke and Stephan also put each individual product through its paces themselves before it makes it into the range.

Of course, all of our products are cruelty-free and are vegan wherever possible.

benecos, that is inexpensive and certified natural cosmetics for everyone! Although the nail polishes are 20-FREE and consist of at least 80% ingredients of natural origin, they are not certified natural/organic cosmetics.

Some products are also not vegan. For quality reasons they contain, for example, beeswax, honey, propolis or carmine.
