How to enhance your eye colour
Make-up TIPS
Choosing the perfect eyeshadow and eyeliner
To really enhance your eyes, to make them look more alluring, bigger, brighter and the whites appear whiter, then choose complementary colours, that is, colours that fall opposite to your iris colour on the colour wheel.
Complementary colours and the colour wheel
The opposite of blue is orange/golds/browns
The opposite of green is lilac/burgundy/pinks
The opposite of brown is aqua/blues/greens
Using complementary colours provides the most contrast between your iris colour and your shadow/eyeliner colour - it’s the contrast that really enhances your eye colour.

Everyone’s Eyes
Aside from complementary colours, we all need some go-to taupe and neutral shades in our palette too. This also includes those with brown eyes, which can use browns, think monochromatic, but it’s best to stay clear from muddy browns.

Application Tips
Always apply eyeshadow from outer towards inner, not the other way around, for a professional and uplifting look to your eyeshadow application. When you apply from inner to outer you end up with colour dragging your eye downwards.
When you’re applying your deepest colour to the crease, always keep your eyes open to ensure correct placement of the colour.
Apply with Eyeshadow brushes, including a blending brush.
With an Angled Eyeshadow Brush you can use Beauty ID Palette Eyeshadows in pearl onyx or dark mountains as long-lasting eyeliner.
